Well I feel like I have neglected my blog for far too long but finally the holiday hours and holiday shoppers are over. Hopefully this means I'll be able to find a couple more spare minutes to share what's going on in southern California.
Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory Lake Elsinore has a very busy holiday season which is very exciting. We made waaay to many apples to begin to count and ran out of 90% of our holiday product. These are both GREAT things for business..just a couple late or all nighters for Rob and Danelle.
We we so lucky to have my family out for Christmas! It helped make Christmas a little more "normal". We're not use to having 60 degree weather and no snow on the ground for Christmas but it's nice to not need a coat! We were excited to have a day off and enjoyed our free time by going to San Diego to La Jolla Beach. Now if only ALL of our families could come out every year! :)
Well that is all of an update I have for now, I'm sure more things have happened that of course now I can't remember but if I think of anything I'll include it at a later time. Hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends! Miss you all dearly! And PLEASE take yourself a vacation to Southern California to come see us!! :)

Opening Day
Well folks, today we officially opened the doors...annnddd...SUCCESS! We served a lot of people delicious confections and finally were able to get home at a decent hour (being 10:30pm). Wahoo! :) Well not a whole lot to say and should probably be sleeping rather than blogging considering we start over at 8am tomorrow morning.
Things we've learned through this experience so far:
1. Turning a business around in 7 days....not impossible.
2. Turning a business around in 7 days is VERY tiring!
3. We have an AMAZING(!!) support system helping us every step of the process!
Wish I could think of more to say and maybe I could if I was a little less sleep deprived but for right now that is my cue to get some sleep! Good night everyone!
